Today is the day we celebrate the birth of my lord. Sir Steven Spielberg has been the light of our existance since 1946. He has achieved immortality by becoming the most popular film director in the history of mankind. His legacy has covered action in Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark as well as Jurassic Park, each one of these breaking box office records. His drama’s achieve not only critical praise, but also good box office turn out with E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, The Color Purple and Schindler’s List. He has five films on the American Film Institutes all time top 100 films. That’s as many as any other director including Alfred Hitchcock, who also has five films on the list.

Steven Spielberg is the reason I myself have choosen to become a filmmaker.

In this new year of 2005 we can expect a Science Fiction extravaganza in the form of Orson Welles’ War of the World. Spielberg has promised a special effects show to end all special effects shows.

I’d just like to take this moment to say Happy Birthday to Steven Spielberg and if I could get you one thing it would be an Oscar for best picture in 1982.
